According to Tollywood pandits, Ramcharan's "Yevadu" and Mahes's "1-Nenokkadine" movies made with a combined budget of over Rs.60crore,will hit all the 1,400 screens in the state. While Mahesh Babu's 1-Nenokkadine will get the First Come advantage of being screened in more number of theaters, Ramcharan's Yevadu will also be given theaters at every place.
Billed to be a battle of big stars, it has now become a friendly arrangement so that the producers of both movies do not suffer. "During the festive season, movie buffs watch more than one movie. Though it might look like a clash between both the stars, it makes a commercial sense for them to release their movies this season. A gap of two days is enough for both movies to reap the benefit," said M.Vijayendra Reddy, president of Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce.
For Ramcharan, whose 'Magadhera' went on to create records, it is now a question of proving his mettle at the box-office again. His last release "Toofan" was a huge disappointment. Mahesh Babu's last film, "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" released in January.
