Shriya’s Sex Worker Movie ‘Pavitra’ movie First look poster was released. Pavitra movie title logo is perfectly in tune with the design of Vidya Balan’s ‘The Dirty Picture’. The poster was released by the makers of ‘Pavitra’. Devasthanam movie director Janardana Maharshi is directing the film. MM Sreelekha is composing the music for Pavitra movie.

Janardhan Maharshi’s fourth project as a director “Pavitra..oka apavitra Katha’ starring Shriya Saran as a sex worker character. Shooting of Pavitra movie is  progressing well. The film throws light at the way the society looks down on a woman. The character is a sex worker and she has chosen the profession, she doesn’t stand on the roads inviting glances; the film for the most part is set inside only a room, the four walls, the fourth wall opens to the society and we are shown it’s perspective.

He says, “There are many chapters in Pavitra’s life that change her destination. She knows the weakness and strength of men and turns into a politician towards the fag end of the film. Destiny leads her into both the professions and when she is labelled a prostitute she gets livid and questions if the politicians who sell the country for their selfish ends are n’t more defiled than her. She is averse to the holier than thou faces around her. She also admits that she is not a good woman, she needs to be stoned but at the same time she tells the people to throw bombs at the murky politicians. She is selling her body to feed her stomach but the politicians are hoarding wealth meant for a generations together, the society should change the way it sees people.”
