‘Satte Pe Satta’ remake with Karishma Kapoor in Hemamalini Role

Hema Malini is certain that Karishma Kapoor, who is said to be taking over her role in the remake of the 1982 film ’Satte Pe Satta’, is the perfect choice to play the character. Jewellery’ show on the second day of India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) in Mumbai, where she was the showstopper.

Hema was paired opposite Amitabh Bachchan ’Satte Pe Satta’. Dressed in a blue sari with a choker of gold and diamonds and a bracelet, the actress added that it was her first ramp walk for any

jewellery brand.

"I have walked for many dress designers over the year but this is the first time I walked for any jewellery brand," said the 62-year-old.

Hema was also all praise for Salman Khan who’s done a cameo in her film ’Tell Me O Khuda’ which releases this September.

"He has done a dance sequence in my film. He’s just got a cameo in the

film but I must say that he is really a adorable person," said Hema.

The actress, who had written and directed ’Tell Me O Khuda’, also stars in
the movie with daughter Esha Deol and husband Dharmendra.
