Director Krishna Vamsi  alias Pasupuleti Venkata Bangaru Raju) celebrates his 48th birthday.   
Krishna Vamsi was born on 28 July 1962 in Tadepalligudem.  He started his film career as a camera assistant, assistant editor and assistant director under sensational director Ram Gopal Varma.
 Right from his debut ‘Gulabi’ to his latest film ‘Mahatma’, he presented freshness and greater variety in each of his films, thats why he become Creative Director of tollywood cinema.
His blockbusters was Gulabi (J.D.,Maheshwari as debut heroin), Ninne Pelladutha (Nagarjuna,Tabu), Sindhooram (a Naxalite backdrop movie), Chandralekha (Nagarjuna,Ramya krishna), Antahpuram (Prakash raj, sowndarya,saikumar,sarada), Murari (Mahesh babu,Sonali bindre), Khadgam (Srikanth,Raviteja,Prakash Raj), Rakhi (Jr.NTR,Iliana), Chandamama (Kajal, Sindhu meenon, Sivabalaji,Navadeep), Mahatma (Srikanth).
